Video: As family shrieks, police kill dog

I'm glad it wasn't my dog, or I'd probably be dead tonight also.

ARRRRGHHHHHH! I hate reading about stuff like that. What is wrong with that guy and how did he ever become a cop?

i'm tempted to say what i think but feel it is best that i don't

Why not? Everyone here says what they think, do you really think it would be that great of a shock to us all?

i doubt anything will be done unless someone in that family has the guts to do something about it

It says they've contracted a lawyer in the article, and I hope they go through with it. After that last case where that guy who dropped his girlfriend's dog out the window did time for it, I hope the idea about cruelty to animals or killing animals changes.

Let's hope the judge is a dog-lover. :smash:

It is never gratifying to have to put an animal down, especially a family pet, and the officer assures me that he never displayed any satisfaction in doing so.
So does that mean he didn't experience satisfaction, or that he hid his satisfaction? :grumpy:

he could always use it on himself and give everyone else some satisfaction since he is so trigger happy

you think he wouldn't he shoot a person with the same amount of disregard?

It wouldn't have mad national news if the police officer killed a person, but no one can stand how the police officer killed the poor doggy.

If he had killed a person with the same disregard, it would have made national news.
