Ireland draws in the last minute! After 30 min extended time the match goes for the free(penalty?) throws. Take your heart medications people...

wow, i missed most of it out with the missus and her dad, walking in the hills of south wales. i've just seen the news highlights, it looked like a great game.

Spain played well for most of the first half. Then they seemed to lose interest in the game.. and if Morientes had tried to stay onside for more than 13 seconds at a time, maybe they could have avoided going to penalties...
 
But if the Irish had scored the first penalty(during game time) the spanish would be over the Atlantic tomorrow :D
