We are now the United Socialist States of America.

King Paulson will attend to matters that we mere mortals can't comprehend.

Pick up your check at the door. Barney Frank, Barac & Chris Dodd thank you for your support.

  • $6 million in tax exemptions for certain wooden arrows used in kids' toys.
  • $192 million in tax breaks for the rum producers of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
  • $128 million in tax breaks for car racing tracks.
  • Section 325 of the bill provides essential tax breaks for the wool research fund.
  • Mandatory Mental Health & Addiction coverage by your health insurance provider.

I don't think my computer can type that many zeroes.

Good-bye USA, old friend, you worked until they found they could vote themselves money.

Long live the USSA (not really)

They have tax breaks for NASCAR tracks? Cool!

That might help dull the pain of a problematic Car of Tomorrow, crappy Goodyear rubber, and the fact that JGR is in the bottom 3 of the chase.

While this "quote" has been erroneously attributed to Alexander Fraser Tytler, Lord Woodhouselee, the true author remains unknown. The "quote", however, is very germane to today's governence and the attitudes of the citizenry.

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

  • From bondage to spiritual faith;
  • From spiritual faith to great courage;
  • From courage to liberty;
  • From liberty to abundance;
  • From abundance to complacency;
  • From complacency to apathy;
  • From apathy to dependence;
  • From dependence back into bondage.

You really haven't been paying attention to this have you?

I've been paying attention. That's why I can recognize Bush and McCain's role in it.

Why are you unable to exactly? Have you not been paying attention?

Your's is due for an update too.

After that though perhaps you like to answer the question about why you're ignoring Bush and McCain's participation in the bailout?

Got anymore distractions or are you going to answer the question?

After that though perhaps you like to answer the question about why you're ignoring Bush and McCain's participation in the bailout?

Or, perhaps the rest of us will continue our conversation while you ponder that and the Swiss involvement in the Holocaust.

Parrotboy, I've said I disagree with Bush & that I now have to vote for the Libertarian. Can I be any more clear than that?

Yeah, you can be a lot more clear. Answer the fucking question that I'm going to ask for the 3rd time now:

Why are you ignoring Bush and McCain's participation in the bailout? They were suspiciously absent from your list of names.

Why is that Gonz?

You know...that write-in of Colin Powell is looking to be a better idea all the time.
