That might help dull the pain of a problematic Car of Tomorrow, crappy Goodyear rubber, and the fact that JGR is in the bottom 3 of the chase.
 
While this "quote" has been erroneously attributed to Alexander Fraser Tytler, Lord Woodhouselee, the true author remains unknown. The "quote", however, is very germane to today's governence and the attitudes of the citizenry.

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

  • From bondage to spiritual faith;
  • From spiritual faith to great courage;
  • From courage to liberty;

I've been paying attention. That's why I can recognize Bush and McCain's role in it.

Parrotboy, I've said I disagree with Bush & that I now have to vote for the Libertarian. Can I be any more clear than that?
