Westerfield gets death penalty!

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16 -- After first saying it was deadlocked, a San Diego jury sentenced David Westerfield on Monday to death for kidnapping and killing 7-year-old neighbor Danielle van Dam. Superior Court Judge William Mudd still has the option of reducing the sentence to life without parole.


Die you son of a bitch. Anyone capable of doing something like that is less than human and should die. I'm not a violent person, but this is a bit much to absorb.

i agree with homelan. he deserves it. she died and whats more she was a kid. a fucking kid!!! kids should never be hurt or killed nor should any adults. id rather he be dead than hurting or killing other kids. i have no kids but i know that id want them to be safe when i have them. hell id expand the death penalty to include rape and molesters. there is no reason he should live. after that. and to the parents who oppose would you have that same stand if it was your own?

Yes indeed, first degree murder, rape, kidnapping can all get death with one offense. Multiple offenses well, you can't exactly kill someone over and over again.
