Let's not talk about taxes......

Ohhh wait, 1 or 2 months ago they removed some really stupid taxes, extra taxes over luxurious things, the problem is their definition of luxury: cell phones (wtf?), flat screens, and other stuff....
 
Our government taxes everything, twice! :D We have GST and PST. GST is for the whole country, and PST is for individual provinces. Each are usually 7% of all sales. Lucky me I live in Alberta where we have 7% GST and 0% PST.
 
We pay 15% of tax, the only products that doesn't pay taxes are medical drugs and food.

In Alberta we only pay 7%, but we pay tax on food and probably medical prescriptions. Do you have income tax to? The government takes somewhere around 25% right off our checks, at least. :rolleyes: :D
 
Yes, there are also income taxes.

As well as a cut off because of Social Medical Insurance (obligatory) called ISSSTE for goverment workers and IMSS for private workers.
