What a novel idea.

With my job, it would most certainly be helpful. When my shoulder took a crap that's the meain reason it took 3 months to do anything about it...the lag time.

How do you know the source is reliable chcr? They've been known to lie & cheat for a story. ;)

The majority of patients, however, still wait for their care. A recent survey in 15 cities found that the average wait for a cardiology exam was 19 days. The average wait was 24 days for a dermatology appointment, and 23 days for an obstetrics-gynecology exam, according to the survey by Merritt, Hawkins & Associates, a national firm that recruits medical workers.

Does anyone have the equivalent stats on our friendly northern neighbors or cousins across then channel, you know, the ones with national (socialized) healthcare?

If it's a media news source, I always assume the source is unreliable. ;)

*lol* I just finished reading that article before I came over here. I wonder if I could find a same-day doctor in my area that takes my insurance. That'd be sweeeeet.

I could really use that, too. I don't know my work schedule for a particular week until sometimes as late as the Tuesday or Wednesday before it, and rare is the Home Depot employee who has a set schedule.
