Where did you find those? (Good pics btw - but then you take good pics). Is that that wall on the corner of Tennessee and Monroe? Or someplace else?
 
i hope those were painted with the explicit permission of the wall's owner.
 
those pictures were taken outside of the beta bar, which is the club owned by the drummer in lorrimar's band.

as far as i know permission was granted, or they don't care. there are lots of buildings down gaines st. that are painted like that. i plan to go back and take some more. the scans aren't as nice as the actual pictures, but had to do low res so as not to kill the board <grin>

the art is always changing down there. they seem to repaint about every month or so.

 
i have to admmit, at least it isn't that type of graffiti with just black spray and some weird letters.

this one is "nice".
 
Now that he mentioned it it does look like a toaster...but it still ruined a good joke... :grumpy:
