So. I'm scanning cduniverse.com, looking for a particular Motorhead track which does not appear on any of their releases. I found it btw. I also found that they have a song on the Spongebob Squarepants movie soundtrack.

I'll say that again. Motorhead has a song on the Spongebob Squarepants movie soundtrack.

Yeah, that's what I thought too.

I played the little 20 second sample. It ain't too shabby. And it is Motorhead, no mistaking.

Maybe there's hope for that generation after all.

Aside from the above mentioned Motorhead tune, I recognized one artist. Avril Lavigne. Hardly my idea of pleasurable listening.

So Spongebob draws a more mature audience? Not just a kiddie phenom? Hmph. Never woulda guessed.
