This quote from: http://www.nandotimes.com/entertainment/story/453433p-3629608c.html just made me sick.

"The truth of the matter is, Entwistle was very mellow, so he affects the music but he doesn't affect the stage dynamic as much," said Howard Fuchs, 50, a Los Angeles attorney who said he had seen the group perform nearly 20 times. "He was unique and replaceable all in one."

How could anyone who is truly a fan of the Who say something like this?

Wow. You found something we agree on. :p

Entwhistle put the group into perspective. While Pete was smashing his guitar, and Roger was whirling the microphone around and smacking it into things, and Keith was blowing up his drum kit, there was John walking away, protectively cradling his bass. He let us know that the band's love of destruction and chaos wasn't unanimous. You could like the group without having to take the destruction seriously, or buy into it as a personal philosophy. If you enjoyed the show it didn't mean you had to smash your car and burn down your house.

Not to mention that he was the only one still playing while they were replacing all the damaged equipment.
