every time i see whats happening, either on the tv or on web sites, there are those type of stories. death,murder,destruction,rape,theft....ugh.
its so depressing.

See, if I was there and carried my two concealed guns, I would have shot the student before he had a chance to kill the second professor.

Reality does suck. I wish they would report stories where people actually defended themselves! They refuse to, though. It's more glamorous to be a victim.

That is unfortunately so. But, trust me, try to kill a family member or friend, or anyone in particular, just because you are angry, and if I'm around you will end up very dead at my feet. *hugs* his guns. First line of defense. Don't leave home without it.

Oh and just for the record, I'd rather spend my life in jail knowing I saved a friend or family member from death by killing the would-be murderer than standing there and watch someone die. (The guy that was jailed in Britain because he defended his family comes to mind.)

Then get out & start changing it. If we, humans, decided we're "not gonna take it" the bad guys would be driven away.

damn I'm idealistic. ;)

It's not that easy. In the old days before terrorism was such a big issue, one person could make a difference. These terrorists are skilled with training and funded.

then get a good rifle & practice. pretend your Jewish & kill them back-10 for 1.

Like these guys go nuts every day, Bubba? Let me ask you a couple questions...

1. How many people served in Desert Storm?

2. How many of those have killed in such a fashion?

Now let me ask a couple more...

1. How many people have assaulted/killed at least 3 people in the US with a gun?

2. How many have ever served in the military?

Before you speak, think... ;)

I was thinking the same thing as Bubba.. but in the context of: make ya wonder what straws the media is grabbing at? *grumble* Anything to grab a 1/10 of a rating point.

In response to Gato, I did think before I spoke. I was referring to something that I heard on tv that a person who served with John Mohammad said. He indicated that many of those who were in the Gulf War are unhappy with the Government. That's where I got the idea.

1 A)around 500,000 Americans served in the Guif War to my understanding

2 A)at least one

I heard on the news over the years that some Gulf War personnel suffer from the effects of the war.

i thought itd be the same for any war not jsut that one. shell shock is from any war from WWI all through desert storm and even now in Afghanistan.
