This week, Lopez’s first Spanish album, "Como Ama Una Mujer," sold a very measly 49,452 copies, according to hitsdailydouble.com. The album finished at No. 10 for the week, behind a repackaging of Elton John’s greatest hits.

If that Indian kid on the singing show is still on there but J-slo can't even break 50,000 records in a week, the music industry is in serious trouble.

It's in spanish...the core audience (12-16 year old Jersey girls) aren't interested and lot of city latino folks who listen to spanish music are purists...Jlo doesn't exactly have the most favorable image as a Latino performer.

as for Sanjaya...I don't get it, his cause for stay is out of sheer desire to ruin the show.

My wife watches it. I've heard him sing. There are worse but he is not strong professional material. He needs to rapidly form a teen boy band & get rich while he can.
