a new juice I'm drinking

I just bought juice from the local health food store, its Tahitian Limeade.

"Water & fresh-squeezed Limes sweetened with washed raw sugar and a touch of coconut."

It tastes good, but I'm not sure if I like it or not. It seems like I'm drinking suntan lotion.

That's the way I feel when I drink Malibu Rum and pineapple juice. That juice sounds yummy though... Haven't had lime juice before. Is it green?

How does one wash raw sugar? Wouldn't it just go into solution with the water?

Are pomegranates and chinese apples the same thing? It looks like it. We used to eat chinese apples, it was a real pain to eat because of all the seeds but that didn't stop us.
