i was only a year old but I still cry when I hear his name or his songs. especially the song Imagine

Such a loss...and the guy who did it still can't explain why.

Can you imagine the music that this man might have written since. He was the heart of the Beatles relevence.

and on the topic of Imagine...
as i recall... once, my brother told me he has difficulty listening to Imagine, because it reminds him of how our mom reacted to the whole situation.

my mom wears a ring that says "IMAGINE". (i have one that says "DREAM"... because you may say i'm a dreamer, but i'm not the only one...)

me, on the other hand.... i quote it often, sing it frequently,

it's a song the world really needs to think about.
