Hmmm, are you completely sure that you're selecting the option "use custom avatar".

The other 2 posibilities are:
- Your browser has a bug and it doesn't submits the data properly.
- The image file has a "bug" too and the board refuses to upload it (try your old avatar and see if it uploads)

The old avatar was 4 pixels too big. I've seen it work on another forum, that's where I got it from.
I'm running IE6 from winXP. And of course I'm sure I selected custom avatar

Try another image, smaller in size and resolution if possible.....
