I'm searching for a product for my brother in law's workshop. So far the ElmScan5 bluetooth seems like a good one, the package comes bundled with ScanXL, but I don't know if it is any good.

He will use to diagnose all kinds of cars, mainly chevrolet, vw, chrysler, ford, renault, seat, honda, toyota, hyundai and nissan.

Comments, experiences and suggestions are welcomed.

Too cute for words
It's been a while since I was in that end of the biz, but I just get 'em to give me the codes then look them up on the internet.

Found this. I Guess you get a trial version of ScanXL rather than the full one which may be a problem.
