I also have an 80mm intake fan
It is a pain in the ass though, Got 2 holes with 50mm holesaw, the rest took down 3 heavy duty dremel disks and it was still only 2/3 done. I gave up, there were small holes in it anyway
Talk about 1mm zinc plated steel
Thus the name "Blue Steel"

Altron,
I think I got some stuff I can "special price" for you that's in
your buget.;)
I got a pretty nice socket7 board I'm checking out now.
It's got a P166 w/mmx on it right now, but Kruz is sending
me a 233 I'm gonna try to package with it.
I got some other stuff too I'm gonna price good and low
for you too. (e.g. soundblaster 16 w/2x CDrom for like $3)
Then you can go shopping.:D

I'll post some specs. and prices tomarrow.:headbang:

Ok, time for boring talk about it:
The exhaust pipe was a Maxwell House Irish Roast coffee can (I told you I was cheap). I cut off the bottom with a hacksaw and sanded the blue/green paint off it. The blue stripes were painted, with the help of some masking tape, a small container of blue paint (that is now empty), and a brush. There is a silver (painted by me) Datech 80mm fan intake, and all the drives are painted.

I listened to your idea for a Duron 1300, got a better idea

T-Bird 1.33GHz
nForce 2 (with integrated graphics)
256MB DDR
20GB HDD
It comes out to under $500 (my mom wants to get a $600 Dell so I am trying to find a better system for the same prce)

Thers a sysem here for $290 it comes with sdram, but the board
will also accept ddr. They will let you updrade to that for probably
$20-$30 more.;)

Ugh :(
My current plan (Yes, a new case too. Blue Steel is great, but it is too much of a hassle to convert to ATX. I'm tired of dremeling 1mm zinc-plated steel)

AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (T-Bred A)
EPOX 8RDA+ (nForce 2 SPP)
Gainward Ultra 450 XP (Geforce 3 Ti 200 64MB)
256MB Samsung PC2700 (CL 2.5)
Western Digital WD400JB (40GB, 7200RPM, 8MB cache)
Sony CDU5211 (52x CD-ROM)
Cheiftec MA-01BD (Full tower, 6 drive bays)
Antec Smartpower 400 watt
3 Sunon 80mm
Thermalright SK-7
$648.99

What do you mean?
My uncle said it has 640k, and he is l33t h@x0r! (I have no idea what it means, but it sounds cool)
I didn't think it had 640k (most likely 4-8MB), but you cna't disagree with my uncle. I hope he doesn't get mad I painted his case...
