No sad face from me. It's the least they deserve.
Every dog I've ever owned has been trained to respond to voice commands. I've never once had a dog pull it's lead from my hand.
A dog, you have to remember, is an animal. A ferocious, lethal animal. It might be a lovable wuss with it's owner, but under the surface, a wolf still lies. Anyone who doesn't have total, absolute control of their animal should never be permitted to own one.
the only person who's in any danger from my dog is someone entering my house when I'm not there. And in that case, they deserve everything they loose.

That's not why I was frowning. I was thinking of the person that was killed. That's what made me sad.
