No, you're wrong. Both portray the other as Nazi party members. Obama is currently being portrayed as a Nazi and so was Bush. But it doesn't matter. The point is that all this name calling and extremism just undermines the reason for the vote: to choose the candidate that will represent your interests in government. The name calling is just a smoke screen for people who are afraid to state what they represent and it's an insult to me (and hopefully to you).
Marxist... nah... not even close. He's pissing off a lot of the Far Left right now. They expected him to swing more in their direction and he's not. He's too far in the middle for them.
I'd prefer someone in the middle because that's where I am politically.

BoP... this is off topic but a friend gave us a DVD of Season 1 of Flight of the Conchords. It's hilarious! The episode where they are persecuted by the fruit stand guy because he mistakes New Zealanders for Australians was one of the best.

The theoretical difference betwen nazi & commie is...one believes in the state where the other dissolves the state. The objectives are much the same...take care of the people instead of them taking care of themselves.
In reality, they are the same. Take care of the people with big government while allowing the state full control. Absolute Equality for the masses, which equates to no more than misery for all.
