French u-turn on iraq war

That's where I've always been concerned. Fortunately, the US isn't the only country whose intel has acknowledged they exist.

But if they've been quietly getting rid of them over the past month?

We'll be the bad guy. Our standing will go down the drain. The war on terrorism will take a huge hit. Bush will get creamed in '04. It'll be bad across the board.

Taking a leadership position has it's drawbacks.

And that's why so many world leaders are taking a pass on this one. Saddam's gonna get it. One way or the other. I'm betting the Brits are playing second string banking on that. Bush is gonna go in like a bull in a china shop, and make an ass of himself. Then Blair is gonna come in to pull his britches outta the fire. Politically speaking that is.
