Happy Hunting Ground

I just took my dog, Avender, in to have her put to sleep. She had had an eye infection, which was pretty serious; we have been giving her antibiotics, and a sort of cream gel crap that the Vet prescribed, but it just never got better.. Her pain was so bad... She also has been battling bad knees for about a year (Progressively). We give her chondroitin (a supplement to strengthen muscles and ligaments in dogs and horses), and once in a while, (cold days, etc..) a pain reliever Prescribed by the vet..

She's been with us for over 15 years, so we decided to let her play with our past pets, in doggie heaven.

Goodbye, Avender. Have a happy hunt in Valhalla!

I know the pain you feel. Had to put my basset down last year on his 12th birthday. I can't say it gets any easier, but it does become more bearable. I still miss Elvis though...

Aw man, I'm sorry. It's hard to replace a great dog for sure. Give it a bit and get a puppy, you won't be sorry.
