That's right, Gonz. All three network affiliates out of Nashville already have at least some programming available in HDTV (couldn't tell you the standard) and my cable company (Comcast) has at least ten premium and high end channels available. Jeslek is right, The DVD standard is well below the HDTV standard, I've read that in a couple of places. I suppose they'll have to catch up.
