Why Obama is the new Reagan.
A few thoughts on our liberal, socialist president elect:
He opposes single-payer. In Europe, even conservatives support single-payer universal healthcare.
He supports low taxes on everyone (compare his 39% highest marginal income tax rate to the 90% or so under Eisenhower).
He supports the occupation of Iraq.
He's a fanatical zionist.
He supports free trade.
He opposes gay marriage.
He doesn't oppose the death penalty (personally, I don't oppose the death penalty either, but that's irrelevent to this discussion).
He vote for the PATRIOT Act.
He voted for giving immunity to telecommunications companies that helped the Bush administration conduct wiretaps without warrants.
He supports corporate welfare (see: $800 billion bailout).
