fascism and socialism are more alike than most realize. They share a totalitarian political structure as an unavoidable end result, but they do have vastly different ideologies on economics.
When you call someone left wing or right wing, do you mean on social or economic issues?

They're both true except that I doubt any of the lead political figures has been able to join the nazis. Fascist they are though and if any side were to take full advantage over the other the result would be a holocaust of sorts.
If the left side takes the advantage then civil right would become available at a first-complain first-serve basis while every squirrel in the woods becomes a share-holder in a successful company and a famous member of society before being literally fed to death. Every morsel of food would be inspected until it was so disected that no trace of it could be discovered, the only way people would be able to get food is if they said it was for medicinal purposes and that they could do whatever they wanted with their body.
If the right side takes the advantage we'd live in a desert of sand and aphalt which can no longer yield any particles of value to modern industry. Complainers would be tried as terrorists and media would be forced to report the daily Christian story followed by a program about the safety of guns and a 15 minute commercial break, during which the remote and TV's buttons would no longer function and the volume would be automaticly changed to 'optimum hearing level for the elderly'. The middle class would be eliminated. There would be 3 classes: the rich leaders, the service men and women in the pay roll of the rich leaders, and the prisoners of any thinkable crime who would do any labor without pay for any corporation except the corporation's competitors.
