Trust her to pick someone who doesn't even live in the same country...

She's acting like a 70 yo schoolgirl and she's off galivanting to Hamburg where he lives soon, and would you believe the gentleman in question actually feels the same way. He's a retired orthopaedic surgeon specialising in sports injuries. I've also no doubt she'll be spending some time at his villa by Lake Garda in Italy too............... hmmm......... holidays! :D

So she's finally decided to get over my dad and get out of her rut and I can finally stop worrying about her. Life is looking up! :swing:
 
cool beans...my mom fell in love and got remarried iabout 50 or so..it can happen...good luck to your mommy!
 
a lady i work with (she's in her 60s) - her mom recently got married. Her mom is in her 80s and so is the little ol' guy she married. :love: They recently took a cruise together. :D It's awful sweet.
