That was disabled just before the move to make it easier.

I am sure it will be reactivated once everything else gets sorted out.

I imagined something like that. But since Xibase still allows them I was confused a bit.

XiBase allowed attachments through the transfer because they were stored in the database. I disabled attachments on OTC because attachments are stored as files, and I would've had to do all the configuration settings again if I had to re-transfer all the site files again. Translation: It made it easier on us all by disabling attachments during the move. They're enabled again now.
