Real-life version of a COPS episode

I had a weird day enough before work, but about an hour into my shift this happened:

I saw this blue Ford Taurus in the parking lot with a driver sitting in the car with the door open and another guy standing outside like they're talking. All of a sudden, the guy standing just outside the car starts pummeling the driver. I called the police from the register and they quickly came and broke up the fight. They let the guy go because it was just a lover's spat.

WTF is going on? This isn't a bad area of Chicago, it's Franklin Park!

You think that's bad? Try driving up to your apartment complex to see someone's car backed into an apartment building, having completely destroyed the surrounding wall.

Now THAT'S material for a real-life version of Cops.
