Turns out the people of this nation don't want his brand of "change" after all.

Your banks fucked your economy, and they did it on someone else's watch. The bad economy leads to unemployment, a weaker dollar, a deficit caused from a weakened tax-income + a stimulus package that's trying to reverse what the banks did.

You're in a depression, sunshine... you shouldn't be surprised that unemployment is up, bankruptcies are up etc...

Greed..pure and simple. Those junk mortgages are just part of what brought them down. Speculative bonds are another, not having enough liquidity to cover undue risks is right up there too.
Most will point to the mortgages - because then the blame can be put on Clinton. BooHoo, he forced us to give out mortgages to people we weren't sure could pay us back. Forgetting, of course, that it was the banks that requested that lowering of regulations covering mortgage loans in the first place. NINJA loans weren't Clinton's idea, eh

Don't forget Jimmy Carter who originally signed the CRA into action, the Clinton cabal including ACORN with their sleazy lawyers such as b.h.obama who sued to force lending institutions to make loans to people who in the real world would be unqualified to receive them, and Barney Frank who poo-poo'd Bush's idea that a new agency be established to supervise the gov-sponsored companies Fannie & Freddie, who were giving campaign contributions to lawmakers responsible for oversight of their industry.

At yesterday’s book signing in Noblesville, Indiana, Going Rogue author Sarah Palin was faced with an angry mob of her own fans who were turned away without having their copies signed. Many of the fans, who had been given wristbands entitling them to up to 2 signed books, had waited hours in the rain for the chance to meet Palin. While you can’t blame them for being angry, some of the crowd’s chants were surprising.
