April 11, 2003 -- PAUL Wolfowitz was right about Iraq - and a lot of people owe the deputy defense secretary a great big fat apology. Especially a lot of State Department people.
He was one of the first to warn about the threat of Saddam Hussein - back 25 years ago, when he worked in Jimmy Carter's Pentagon. For that foresight, critics caricatured him as an obsessed hawk or, now, Wolfowitz of Arabia.
