They don't have Blu Tak in Holland.

I've remember a yellow variant of the stuff from the late 80s. It was pure shit. It had a certain oil in the gum base that spread into the paper being hung as well as the wall. After 3 months the stains were the size of large coins ... and if you tried to remove it it would tear the paint right off of the wall ... cause it also broke down the paint and made it blister.

I'm a thumbtack man from now on because of it.

Those who try to imitate Blu Tak fail miserably. I think the formula must be extra-terrestrial in origin.

There's this "white tack" shit that just ain't the same...
 
heh! wait! i vaguely remember me having that white shit a lot of years ago...made by Pritt if i'm correct.

it was shitty. tore off the paint off the walls, and damaged the posters.
