That was a good song in concert.....but the newest one (Six Feet Down, I think is the name) is SO annoying. I hear it way too much on the radio. :(

IMHO, creed is overplayed in general, i used to like them, i have the first two albums, then i realized that every single they've ever had sounds basically the same.

dmb - i did it

Didn't use to be, but they are getting played and played more and more. Ruining them. :( I wouldn't get the latest cd if it was free. No use....I could just turn on the radio and nearly guaranteed to hear them :(

Sorry if I'm ranting, it just makes me sick that creed can stay so absurdly popular by humping the same dead horse. They haven't really shown any artistic development or creativity since album one (which was a good disc). Virtually every great artist, from Mozart, to the Beatles, to Salvidor Dali, has shown an evolution in their work from the beginning, or at the very least some ability to play more than variations on the same theme. I suppose it's just another thrilling example of the manufactured nature of pop.

recipe for pop star:
preheat oven to 350.
combine the following in a large mixing bowl:
[generic power ballad] + [sexy lead singer with questionable character] + [mass media publicity] + [cookie-cutter lyrics about depression or love]
place on baking sheet and cook for 9-11minutes.
should produce several million records and shitloads of profit.

" No Valentines "

No more Valentine's Day
No more Christmas cards
I've thrown them all away
No more sequined stars
No birthday wishes
No more surprises
Who needs them anyway
No reason to get excited

Yes I gave you everything
I gave you earth and sky
And everything in between
That walks or crawls or flies
No Easter mornings
It's your cross now
Keep it all for yourself
It's overrated anyhow

But keep my Valentine
I'll keep my bleeding heart
Just let me out of here
Before that sentimental music starts
And your regrets
Fall like empty lines
Like the lies we write on Valentines

:crying3:
