I work 2 part-time jobs right now. One as a Parish Administrator for a church near home. The other as a 'bouche trou' (Man Friday) for the Diocesan Office of the Anglican Church of Canada (The Bishop's office)

I'm also a freelance Graphic Designer...I prefer print, but I get to work the web more often (fixing other designers fuckups - who got the job in the first palce because they lowballed competant people like me :D )

*In the past, I've done everything from Driving Forklifts and loading trains to running a front desk/housekeeping for a mid-sized hotel.*

Tell them what Bouche trou really means.

Hole blocker - hole filler - the guy who fills in the holes in the service left open by other people's absence. illness, lack of time or outright incompetence. :D

In relation to the church...it might also mean 'priest' :D

Something is gained in the translation there.
Yeah ...kinda like calling myself 'man friday' whic is a throwback to Robinson Crusoe and his 'man' (slave who did all the menial tasks for him) called Friday (bacause that's the day on which he found a stranded black man on 'his' island).

They both mean 'jack of all trades and master of none'.

Geez, it's not next to the cemetery, it's across the street. SW corner's the cemetery, NW is Walgreens, NE is a gas station and SE is 7-11. Also, the restaurant moved about a half mile away after Walgreens bought the property from them, and they're doing fine if not better in their new location, it's not a dump anymore cause it's a whole new building.

Controller/CFO/Human Resources for a small corporate lender. Like Sam, the hats change a LOT. Nature of a small co, I guess.

So many porn stars here, no downloadables. *sigh*

Real estate agent and managing broker/flunky/Friday for the company owner. I do a little selling, a lot of babysitting of agents, review files, and, best of all, I have been here long enough to make my own hours and come and go when I please just as long as my work is done.

I also maintain our web site and email addresses. This is the real reason the boss keeps me around. No one else here has a clue as to how or what I do with this lap top.

Boo, why does your Mom fret over you not having a bird? :lol2:
