Your Darkest/Brightest Hour

The darkest had to be seeing my house burn down.

The brightest would take far too much set-up and explanation to ever be conveyed properly. Although receiving my college diploma (first in the family to get one) would rank way up the list.

nevah had a dark hour
it has been so many bright spots inna row
I wear my sunglasses @ night

Well I'm heavenly blessed and worldly wise
I'm a peeping-tom techie with x-ray eyes
Things are going great, and they're only getting better
I'm doing all right, getting good grades
The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades

Brightest - delivering my children. No doctors or nurses to get in the way and just the odd suggestion from the midwife to help me along. First person to hold my kids...quite an experience.

Darkest - burial of one of my cousins. She was 12 at the time but looked about 6...kidney failure after years of dialysis. She was too small to receive an adult donor kidney and they couldn't find a child donor kidney. :(

Brightest - anytime both my boys cuddle up to me while we chat. It never gets old - and it fills me with an amazing feeling of love and completeness.

Darkest - The death of my Mom. How she died. How sudden it was. Nothing so bleak has happened since.
