what is your favorite recipe, both to make, and to eat the result of?

mine's a German Peach Torte!

ingredients:
1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine
2 cans sliced peaches, drained.
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs, separated.

directions :
mix softened butter with cake mix until crumbly
pat into 13"x9" ungreased pan, building up edges slightly.
bake 10 minutes at 350 (325 if using glass pan)
arrange drained fruit slices on warm crust in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
drizzle with 1 c. sour cream mixed with 2 egg yolks.
bake 20-25 minutes.
do not overbrown!

Spaghetti Casserole

1 can tomatoes
1 tbsp curry
1 tsp oregano
onion, green pepper, celery, chopped
400g cheddar cheese, cubed
1 900g package of spaghetti

Bown beef with onions, peppers, celery. When cooked fully, add tomatoes with liquid, squish tomatoes, add curry and oregano and simmer covered for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, boil spaghetti, drain. Combine all ingredients in an oven proof casserole, and bake for 35 minutes at 350F.

Too cute for words
They're made out of sugar,
butter and flour.
You put 'em in the oven
'Bout a quarter hour
but the thing that gives 'em
Their magic power
Are the chocolate chips inside.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
I gotta have more.
You can bake 'em in the oven
Or buy 'em at the store.
But whatever you do
Have 'em ready at the door
And I'll love you till I die.

Just cool enough to not burn your tongue, with a big ice-cold glass of milk.

1. Go to Indian Takeaway
2. Order "1 Chicken Tikka Massala, 1 pilau rice, 1 bombay potato and a peshwari naan please".
3. Pay the man
4. Collect the food
5. Go home and pig out!
6. Burp...

Goes down well with a long cold drink and a large dish of ice-cream several hours later. :D

It just doesn't taste the same when I cook it.... :disgust2:
