What if someone is being clearly racist? I would consider someone afraid of pointing that out to be of inferior intellect and moral character.

Bullshit! You have to admit, that while Bush was not the level of idiot he was said to be by some, he had a unique and uncanny way of "putting his foot in it". I am not at all about to say that the "right" has no valid complaints about Obama. Still he is not a communist or socialist That is just alarmism and scare tactics. But of course few can see it for what it is it seems. Better to shout the sky is falling than to use a valid fact based argument, right?
