Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

I'd tell you its just some dude who just forwards the domain, but I doubt that is juicy enough for you. ;)

Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

Yes, that's it. Our governmental big brother. And yet, they can still build their terror hives wherever they wish..... ;)

Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

No. We have been terrorized by the extreme right and radical Christians too. The Christian Identity movement is a terror hive as well, so perhaps we should make a list of what we approve that you think about and what you believe in? Lest you forget...

Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

The constitution doesn't guarantee emotional satisfaction of others. I don't have an obligation, nor do you have a right, to have me do things that makes you happy. Even if a vast majority of Americans think they should move, its not up to us to decide for them. Thus the freedom part...

Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

Ah, but Cerise, the opposition is suggesting they don't build it here like a two-year old suggests he wants the candy in the candy isle. To throw demeaning definitions of terminology at the issue is no different than saying I wouldn't want a church next to my home because they have graphic...

    goodbye privacy

Exactly. Its the lack of established threshold that compounds the nightmare of this precedent. If not the driveway, what about a carport? When does an enclosed garage become fair game? The open doorway to the house? Wonder if we can tag a government vehicle much the same?

    How's your garden doing?

Was'nt the leaves, it was the, erm, stem? Just below where it transitions from green stalk to white bulb. It was picked at over and over, pulling apart the onion bulb itself and causing the plant to wilt over. Strangest thing. Only saw it once, but it sure looked like it was pecking at the...

    How's your garden doing?

Watched a female Cardinal pick at my green onions over and over Saturday night. After she was done, I went over and saw what looked like very similar damage. Who'da thunk it?

High Fructose Corn Syrup and Pancreatic Cancer link

She must be mistaken. We have the real thing. There once was an unopened bottle of the fake stuff in the cupboard, but I believe its since been trashed. Only the youngest likes Maple syrup (and not the fake one), the oldest likes the fake strawberry stuff like I do. ;)

    Got back from Portland today

I could see that. The stations around here don't ask for a zip at the pump, but I know that AMEX sometimes requires a zip at some retail stores. My visa never prompts.

    How's your garden doing?

I debated setting up an IR camera and a dvr for one night and keeping the dog in. ;)

    How's your garden doing?

Something has been munching on my white onions at night. It's pulling them up and eating the bulb just below where the stem begins. Not touching the green onions next to it, nor the carrots. Pulled nearly every one up so far. Grr. Time to reposition the fence.

    Got back from Portland today

Is the state big enough to call those different areas, or are they really just across the street from each other? :P

    carpet, or tile?

All I need is a miter saw, which I can borrow from my folks. I helped lay the floating wood floor in our office and did all the trim for it. It's not hard, just requires patience and the ability to read a tape. I'd do some kind of pre-finished flooring though, as prepping/finishing would be...

    carpet, or tile?

Both bathrooms are laminate, and the kitchen/dining area is a kind of engineered wood laminate sort of thing. Just finished moving nearly everything around to clean the carpets up and down. Now I'm putting serious thought into tearing it all up and putting hardwood everywhere. Can't be too...
