    Dirt Cheap or Free

Like the program itself but i hate Sun Java. It's just too problem prone especially for those of us power users.

    CA special election

What a total slap in the face. What do you expect when you mess with firemen, teachers and nurses!? What was Arnold thinking? I don't think he'll "be back" from this blow. :hangman:

    Slight upgrade.

The only change i would make to that system is the ram module. In five years there's a good chance that machine will be running Vista and it'll be a serious memory hog especially after its first service pack. Why not go with a single stick of 512 and save yourself from having to dump the 2x256...

    Slight upgrade.

No kidding. What motherboard? That's the most important and interesting part of the entire system.

    Slight upgrade.

I was thinking in terms of cost/power ration. You could probably save $100 by going with socket 754 and a 2800+ over that 3gz pentium IV cpu and MB and they would be the same speed. Building a pentium machine sounds fun though. It's probably been five years since i built a new intel system.

    Slight upgrade.

Just curius, why go with Pentium IV over AMD?

    R.I.P. my 9800 pro

Mmmm...the Geforce cards are better quality right now but the Ati prices are just unbeatable at this point in time. Geforce 6800Gt's are going for $275 and the X800Pros for $185. That's an unbelieveable price to performance ratio(the X800pro). I went with the Leadtek Winfast A400 GT TDH...

    Call of Duty 2

I've been seriously considering picking up Civ4. Believe it or not i've never tried the civilazation series. You know i still play age of empires 1 & 2 because i love the idea of resource management along with expanding the boundries of your tribe mixed with a little warefar. Is the the Civ...

    Miers withdraws!

I'll put money on that. That it won't be a woman that is. I think the pressure is now off Bush to select a woman. This time around he'll pick a proven conservative male(possibly black or hispanic) and the republicans will be so relieved that he(whomever he is) will glide through the rest of the...

    Call of Duty 2

Way too busy playing BF2. I...can't...stop...playing! Even when i'm pissed off or tired. Just loving the non-linearworldliness. Only 550,000 points to go to take the lead in stats. :retard3:

Think he'll stay clean long enough to enjoy it?

People who successfully beat active addiction generally do so because they experience much pain and misfortune that stem directly from their lack of control. Robert Downey Jr has lots of money to afford various types of the "best" drugs and is probably surrounded by yes men catering to his every...
