Keep in mind France does not have a military to speak of and if it did a lot of the personel would desert if one shot is fired...

Methinks you've been reading too much propaganda. France has a large army by European standards, and it's France's leadership, not it's military, that are a bunch of idiots.

European standards? I question any socialist standards..As far as Frances leadership goes, that is said without any questions...
 
so i just heard some french dude on a radio news program explaining that france has big muslim and jewish populations, and since it's fairly near election time and the politicos don't wanna offend any voters by association with government actions and soldiers who may end up shooting at lebanese or israelis... well, that was his explanation as to why there's little will in france to belly up the bar in lebanon.

all this stuff about france that my pa told me must be true... what a buncha do-nothing pussies. bloody pathetic.

I agree with your point but their military has a bleak history as of late (unless you happen to like hustlers & pimps)
 
Did you hear about the new French tanks? Their transmissions have three forward gears... and 18 reverse.
 
and yet, it seems they forgot their heritage, and are now sending an additional 2,000 troops to the region.
