Has nothing to do with equality Gonz, and it never has. What is has to do with is perceived equality. Abortion has been used as a key component in Women's Rights, but has been abused by the very people it was meant to protect...women. The fact that they carry life inside their bodies for nine months was perceived to be a bad thing, because it kept women out of the work force. In the rhetoric of equality, it was forgotten that being a parent is the hardest, and most rewarding, job in existence if it's done correctly. It was also needed to advance the right of divorce...which is directly seen with the rise of the divorce rate over the years. Commitment is no longer valued, and the throw-away culture is now reigning. While it seems to be the fault of radical feminism, men have also played a big part in this creation. Abusive husbands/fathers and infidelity have cheapened what was a treasured part of both men and women.
