[Rant]Hmm... I never defrag, don't have a registry as such, I do occasionally do some housekeeping and get rid of files that i no longer use, I've never left a computer on longer than two years and I can run M$ Office as much as I want but Open Office works better. All of the DOS based Windows are crap compared to the NT based ones and, if you know computers very well, all Windows OS's are crap compared to the UNIX based ones. Windows is still marginally more user friendly than Linux (that gap closes daily) But UNIX predates Windows and will post-date it as well.[/Rant]

The moon means suspend (or standby). Perhaps you have hibernate disabled, go to start menu, control panel, and then energy options. There should be a tab named hibernation, click on it and then the option to enable it appears.

It's very likely that the names in the above procedure are a bit wrong since I have a winxp in spanish.
