Well that article is somewhat moot in that there is supposed to be at least two deputies escorting prisoners,why there wasn't needs to be addressed first.Secondly someone of that size would have easily wrestled the gun from most if not all male deputies as well.If she was such a push over why did he need to shoot her at all and the fact she was only wounded while the male deputy outside was killed when he was prepared ,further disproves that theory IMO.
Women are not as strong as men, just hand this to those harvard professors

The first account was that the Grandmother was shot in the mouth and for some reason I wrongly assumed she had her sidearm on her hip... turns out he busted her in the chops took her keys off of her opened a locked locker to get her gun. Is there ANYONE here that thinks if the prep was fighting an officer that was of a similar size that the outcome might have been different I mean jeez C'Mon!!!

Yeah Buddy a Big Buffed Out Dood would have given him a Hellava lot better fight than a 5' 2" 51 year old grandmother for christsake.

We recently had a female phoenix PD have her gun taken from her and get shot, she lived though it but the bad guy stole her car and lead them onna merry chase unitl a male officer blew the guy away.
A 6' 7" 310 pound male officer
(a friend of my Wifes hubby is a Phoenix police officer, I'm tellin' you he came over in uniform the .40 on his hip it looked like a toy, he's so big and with that Kevlar vest and all, you'd need an RPG to stop him)
would have smacked the holy crap outta that boy and that woulda been that!
