Anyone see this yet. This was a good film and i don't know for sure as i wasn't around but it seemed fairly accurate. Definitely worth seeing imo. Actually now i wish i could see some of those old fights against Smokin Joe Frazier and George Forman. In fact i wish i could have seen some of the Ali press conferences.
The man was truly an entertainer.

It suprised me - better than I thought it'd be. Worth seeing for Will Smith and Jon Voight's performances... they are exceptional.

Not a classic movie, but not bad either. :)

I don't think they went for glorification but for accuracy. Surprising for a Micheal Mann film.(Miami Vice)
Yet there was something about its plainness that i found appealing.
Did you notice how much silence there was in the film? Some new and interesting approaches to the audio and video as well.

It was well done . And accurate in its portrayal of the key players. I was truely amazed at Will Smith's performance. He 'became the man'

I'm getting annoyed with Will Smith for some reason and haven't been interested in the film.

I have seen The Rumble in the Jungle on Classic Sports Network though.

Amazing fight.
