In August of this year you posted a great graphic and it was so true. Having you post the truth was quite surprising with just how often you're on the wrong side of everything.

Yeah, it was true thanks. The presidential election map showed a great shrinkage of dumbfuckistan from the 2004 presidential election map.

The election went well for me. Somewhere around 90% or more of the stuff went the way I voted. I imagine you must have felt clobbered with Whitman and Fiorina sent packing.

Oh that's right you don't think women are fit for office anyway. Still, I can't imagine your ballot worked out too well.
 
Or, most people are dissatisfied with their elected officials regardless of party affiliations, and there was a strong movement against incumbents.

Additionally, a geographical view is completely inappropriate as this has absolutely no bearing on government. House representation is based on population. The Northeast, for instance, is tiny on the map and in terms of physical area, but has a huge population. From land mass, this years Republicans would have an overwhelming majority, but when you count up the population, it's a much smaller gap. This is because there are many small-on-your-map urban areas that are very densely populated and thus have many representatives, but don't have as much weight on the overall appearance as a sparsely populated state that has far fewer representatives.

The Democrats took a lot of seats in '08 due to how upset people were over Bush and Iraq. As usual, elected officials don't live up to their campaign promises, so a whole bunch of them got kicked out this year because of anger over the recession and healthcare and whatever else. Next time, we'll be pissed off over something else, and vote out a bunch of incumbents again. It's a cycle that won't stop until we have politicians that aren't sleazebags (i.e. never)

Ironically, they spent 8 years listening to a deafening roar form those in the previous mentioned areas hammer at GW & his policies, quite literally, from before Bush ever took office. Bush & his policies were not the deciding force. Peace (mot military) & silence were.
 
I, even now, still hold on to the shame, lest I forget,
that I actually fell for a similar line on the "Patriot Act", and

The CA economy being down was not an effect of this recent ballot. But yes, I'm pretty happy with how my ballot went.

Who approved unions in the california State governemnt creating over 500billion in unfunded liabilities? -- I bet it was the guy you voted for in 2010, moonbeam-brown.
