Nope......the divorce is supposed to be a split of any and all community property. Adultery is just a reason for the split.

Either way, it's a legal matter handled in a civil court. Whether or not it is contested or even has a public hearing, it's still a civil suit. Some more civil than others...

I've seen lawsuits of such a nature going back at least 5 years... wherein both the spouse and the 3rd party were both sued for interfering with the marriage and whatnot.

There should be more of those suits...against the ex-and their partner. Make people think.
