No royalty - although I can supposedly claim a Scottish tartan or two. Am a decendent of an Alabama State Sentator who co-founded Tuskegee Institute. Most proud though of my coal mining and lumber town roots.

My Mom claims that we are related to Pope John the 23rd. His last name was Roncalli, which was my Granfather's name before they shortened it to Ronca when they came from Italy to the States. I don't know if that's true or not though, she might just be pulling my leg.

Didn't you also have a cousin or two on the Bismark as well?

I think I had a cousin in Virginia during the Civil War who invented several industrial improvements. I think one of them was the automatic cigarette rolling machine.
