I guess you missed the word "apparently"............
I see by "apparently" you meant "there's not a chance in hell that what I'm claiming is true but I'll post it anyway".
I guess you missed the word "apparently"............
spike. I'm certain that your lies and fairytale dreams are more responsible for this tragedy than anything Sarah Palin did.
However, Gov Palin had a facebook posting asking for prayers & offering condolences less than half an hour after this happened.
I've learned that from you. Thnx.
Why leave it for people like you to use against her completely out of context?
Ah, more delusional ass-hattery logic from the shit-for-brains-progressive commie boy.Since a dem was shot it's would far more likely that it's your lies and fairytale dreams.
Clearly Sarah Palin and the TEA party is directly responsible for this.
Palin spokeswoman: 'Nothing irresponsible about our graphic'
By Shane D'Aprile - 01/09/11 12:18 PM ET
A spokeswoman for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is defending the much maligned map of Democratic House districts that appeared on Palin's Facebook page.
It included what looks like the crosshairs of a gun over the district of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) and another 19 Democratic members who voted in favor of healthcare.
Liberal bloggers and commentators attacked the map Saturday, with several suggesting that the visual, along with Palin's rhetoric, played a part in Saturday's mass shooting that killed at least six and left Giffords in critical condition after she was shot in the head.
Palin spokeswoman Rebecca Mansour told talk radio host Tammy Bruce in an interview that "We never, ever, ever intended it to be gun sights" and labeled comments from the left, which she said were aimed at politicizing the tragedy, "obscene."
Mansour told Bruce that the graphic was contracted out and that Palin staffers approved it without much thought saying, "it never occurred to us that anybody would consider it violent."
She said the symbols over the House districts were meant to be "crosshairs that you would see on a map," as opposed to the sights of a gun.
The liberal blog Daily Kos highlighted the "target list" on its blog and Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas tweeted this early Saturday: "Mission accomplished, Sarah Palin."
The tweet included a link to Palin's target map.
Kos also recycled a clip of Giffords reacting to the map on MSNBC, where she warned Palin of potential consequences to such visuals.
"The way that she has it depicted, has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district," Giffords said. "When people do that, they've got to realize there are consequences to that action."
If some on the right such as the NRCC think our graphic is an issue, they must have issues with Target stores as well,” [Ryan] Rudominer said.
Democrats: our bullseye targets on House districts are not like Palin’s crosshair targets
by George Bennett | April 8th, 2010
Sarah Palin’s use of crosshairs to target Democratic House incumbents is dangerous symbolism, Democrats say. But a party spokesman says it’s “a stretch” to compare Palin’s imagery to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s use of red and white bullseyes last year to target Republican incumbents.
Broward County Democratic Chairman Mitch Ceasar played the Palin card this week when he condemned GOP congressional hopeful Allen West for urging tea partyers to make Democratic U.S. Rep. Ron Klein “scared to come out of his house.”
Palin endorsed West last week. So Ceasar noted that the former Alaska governor and VP nominee also recently “unveiled a national political map using rifle crosshairs to mark the members of Congress across the country who supported healthcare reform.”
Klein isn’t on Palin’s map, but, Ceasar said, “West and his mentor Sarah Palin are shamefully stoking violent language and symbolism that threatens the safety of our leaders and public officials.”
Some in the conservative blogosphere contend there’s not much difference between Palin’s map and the Democrats’ placement of bullseyes on the districts of “targeted Republicans” who voted against the $787 billion stimulus bill.
Said National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Andy Sere: “We’re waiting with bated breath for an acknowledgment that all their recent outrage has been manufactured for political gain. In the meantime, we’re asking Merriam-Webster to add ‘D-C-C-C’ as an alternate spelling for ‘hypocrisy.’ ”
DCCC spokesman Ryan Rudominer said Palin’s map must be considered in the context of her famous Twitter tweet last month: “Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: “Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!”
After the “reload” tweet caused an uproar, Palin said at a Nevada tea party rally: “When we talk about fighting for our country, let’s clear the air right now about what it is that we’re talking about. We’re not inciting violence. Don’t get sucked into the lame-stream media lies.”
Notwithstanding that disavowal, Rudominer says Palin’s map and tweet are evidence of extremism while the Democratic map is no more threatening than a certain retailer’s logo.
“Talk about a stretch — Sarah Palin is an extremist who recklessly used a rifle scope graphic after she wrote ‘Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!’ in the midst of a number of death threats against lawmakers. If some on the right such as the NRCC think our graphic is an issue, they must have issues with Target stores as well,” Rudominer said.
