Seriously, letters to the editor can be entertaining yet scary - is the person on line at the supermarket next to you a person who thinks like this? Could people you work with or live nextdoor to think like this?

She's an idiot but in the last paragraph she stumbles onto a simple truth. The changes that have occured in the last 25 years have come from a society that worshipped something greater than themselves to one that worships self. A culture of death from one of life.

This has occurred cyclically throughout history. Every society that has reached a level above basic subsistence goes through it. Interesting how it's always someone else's fault, huh?
