Batton down the hatches

For 77k I could buy a pretty decent home down here. I guess real estate is really inflated up there.

In the summers here we'll get temperature swings of about 30C from day to night, if my math's right. We get highs of 100-115F and lows in the low- to mid-50s (but on days it gets to 115 the low usually doesn't dip below 60).

That cool air at night actually feels pretty good after that kind of heat in the day.
 
A little weather humor....

A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, "So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?"
