Yep... and there's a nice passage in the Quran regarding the mandatory removal of hair under the arms and pubic areas.Thoughtful... they don't want their men to go down on them only to get a mouthful of hair.
The less education a man has, the earlier he will marry his daughter off. He can not marry her off until she has had her first menses. After that, if the family either lives somewhere with strict covering rules for women (i.e., Saudi Arabia) or the father forces those rules on the women of the household, the daughter begins to cover herself with the abaya/burqa (cloak) and the niqab (face covering) when out in public.Not having ever married a middle Eastern woman, no, I did not know this.
Granted, don't most of those wimmen get married at about 12, to older men?
