That's the problem, freako. They don't want to 'do their own thing'. They want everybody to do their thing. That's why we, as a nation, ned to have a national language (English) at the least and let those who immigrate here that, no matter what, they'll at least have to learn the lingo.

A giagantic hodge podge of little Italys, Chinatowns, etc etc with little or no cohesion is what destroys countries. Look at, what a surprise, Iraq.

One half Shiite, 1/4 Sunni & 1/4 Kurdish. They allowed each to practice their own thing, allowing small cultures to overtake the whole. Is that where you wish to end up? Nothing to bind teh whole together but imaginary lines in the, literally, sand.
