Buwaaa!

That father is just plain stupid, that was a lousy thing to do :eh:

He auctioned off the ps2 and he is still outa pocket, if he'd bundled the games in with it.......he might have even made a profit :D

Now you see... thats good... but my son wouldn't even know his PS2 had gone until about a month later... on his release from hospital!!!!! :D

one was given to him by us and the other by his uncle on his dad's side... he thought he could use that one after i tossed the first 'cause it came from his dad... no such luck

two years later i let him buy the new model with money he got for xmas... i figure my point was made... he's been much better about doing homework ever since

Our youngest learned that lesson a couple years ago. We got them each a gameboy for xmas. The youngest got mad one day and threw his sisters gameboy at one of his sisters. Hit the steps and shattered. I just real calmy asked him where his was. He got it, I took the little label that had his name on it off and put the label from the broken on back on it. He hasn't thrown anything since.

There you go man. Good for you.
That's the exact philosophy I try to use. :nerd:

Gosh, I kinda like this dad's idea. But he was pretty dumb for not starting the bid higher. Minimum should have been about $150 if he was really expecting to get any of it back.
